ABOUT
Stan Stein, is a veteran public relations executive and former journalist. During the past four decades, he has twice helped build small offices of global agencies into Michigan’s largest public relations agencies. Throughout his 35 years serving GM from the agency side, he has helped his clients win a Silver Anvil and myriad other industry awards, and helped his global firm win Agency of the Year many times over. Stan has been involved with many aspects of PR, ranging from product launches to sports marketing to crisis communications to credit cards.
Prior to that, he represented a variety of clients such as the Stroh Brewery Company, Domino’s Pizza, the Michigan United Conservations Clubs and other Michigan-based companies and associations.
Stan entered the public relations profession after a journalism career that included writing for the Lansing State Journal and other Michigan dailies. He has also published a half-dozen books, including the best-seller Spartan Seasons: The Triumphs and Turmoil of Michigan State Sports.
